A family affair: Musical group brings Christmas magic To McCain

MANHATTAN -- The McCain Performance Series will present "A Leahy Family Christmas" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at McCain Auditorium.

An award-winning band, the Leahy family used music as a way to explore their Scottish-Irish roots while growing up on their family farm. This musical exploration has culminated in a show of fiddle-driven music and enchanting dancing and vocals.

The holiday program gives the Leahy family a chance to share a bit of the magic of Christmas from their childhood, and will feature an energetic and joyous performance that blends Celtic music with traditional Christmas carols.

Tickets for "A Leahy Family Christmas" range from $14-$55 with applicable taxes and fees, and can be purchased at the McCain Auditorium box office, by phone at 785-532-6428, or online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain/.
