University to host 10th Dialog on Sustainability July 18

MANHATTAN — "Educating Leaders for Sustainable Development" is the title of the 10th annual Dialog on Sustainability set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, in the Fiedler Hall auditorium and atrium in the engineering complex at Kansas State University.

Hosted by the Consortium for Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability, or CESAS, and its partners, administrative leadership of the consortium is provided by the university's Center for Hazardous Substance Research in the College of Engineering.

This year's dialog will focus on educating leaders, including students and those in the community. The anticipated audience will include youth from 19 European countries, undergraduate students from U.S. universities who are working on sustainability research projects, leaders and members of environmental organizations, environmental professionals and other communities.

Attendees are invited to come prepared to share input, ideas and information on their sustainable activities. In addition to presentations and dialog, displays, posters, exhibits, a free lunch and more will be available.
