Kappa Omicron Nu inducts new members

MANHATTAN — Excellence in scholarship, leadership or research has earned more than 45 Kansas State University students membership in Kappa Omicron Nu, a national human ecology honor society.

Membership in Kappa Omicron Nu is extended to undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Human Ecology who have demonstrated integrity, high standards of scholarship and the promise of future achievement. Undergraduate students must have completed 45 semester hours and have a minimum grade point average of at least 3.5. Graduate students must have completed 15 semester hours of graduate work and have a minimum grade point average of 3.7.

The following students are new members of Kappa Omicron Nu at Kansas State University:

Raine Davis, senior in early childhood education, Auburn; Corey Valentine, junior in nutrition and health, Baldwin City; David Delzeit, senior in dietetics, Colby; Adele Bohn, senior in dietetics, Columbus; Jenilee Horn, senior in dietetics, and Brittany Jenkins Ziegler, senior in kinesiology, both from Fort Riley.

From Greater Kansas City: Madeline Abbs, junior in family studies and human services, Kourtney Dowers, senior in interior design, and Logan Krizek, senior in kinesiology, all from Olathe; Anna Marie Biggins, sophomore in dietetics, Gabrielle Ciccarelli, sophomore in nutritional sciences, Mary Hastert, sophomore in dietetics, and Mary Privitera, junior in family studies and human services, all from Overland Park; Leila Seabaugh, junior in nutritional sciences, andJessica Thompson, junior in family studies and human services, both from Prairie Village; and Carley Deibler, junior in apparel and textiles, Shawnee.
