2002 Business Administration

 

* Two K-State marketing instructors, David M. Andrus, department head, and Philip Trocchia, assistant professor, have won the 2002 outstanding paper award from the Marketing Educators' Association. The award, announced April 19 at the Marketing Educators' Association's national conference in San Diego, Calif., was given to the two K-State professors for the paper "Faculty Perceptions of a Successful Marketing Department Head." April 2002

* Jaebeom Suh, K-State assistant professor of marketing, won the "Most Outstanding Paper" award from the Literati Club, the world's leading collection of resources for journal authors, as the most outstanding paper in the 2001 volume. His paper, "The effect of work climate on critical employee and customer outcomes: An Employee-level Analysis," was published in International Journal of Service Industry Management last October. Working with Mahn Hee Yoon (Taegu University; Kyungsan, Korea) and Sharon E. Beatty (University of Alabama), Suh completed the paper in May 2001. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Literati Awards for Excellence. January 2002
