Other archiving options

In addition to importing the Oracle Calendar data into Zimbra Calendar, there are other archival options available to those wanting the data for additional proccessing or review.

Oracle Calendar exporting options

Data can be exported from Oracle Calendar in a number of formats:

• Comma-delimited text file for Agendas - does not contain a list of attendees.
• Tab-delimited text file for Agendas - does not contain a list of attendees.
• Text file of activities by date - a list of appointments by date and time by individual, showing the appointment title. Does not contain a list of attendees or meeting notes.
• Text file of activities by person - a list of appointments by individual by date and time, showing the appointment title. Does not contain a list of attendees or meeting notes.
  
  

  Note: Comma-delimited and tab-delimited files can be opened by many spreadsheet programs. The data in these type of files is displayed in columns. The column headers (or fields) are:

  • Export Item - the Individual.
  • Date - day of the meeting.
  • Start - start time of the meeting.
  • End - end time of the meeting.
  • Duration - length of the meeting.
  • Title - title of the meeting.
  • Location - where the meeting was held.
  • Importance - priority level of the meeting.
  • Access - access level.
  • Attendee Count - number of invitees.
  • Owner - owner of the meeting. Identifies the calendar hosting the meeting.
  • Creator - individual who initiated the meeting.
  • Last Writer - last person to modify the meeting.
  • Description - meeting notes.

Printing options

Oracle Calendar offers options to print calendar information for those with limited data archival needs. Calendars can be printed or saved as PDF files for later referral. Printer options or agenda pages include:

• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly
• Multi-week
• Day list
• Calendar format
