K-State Calendar

Syncing with your BlackBerry

Synchronization with K-State Calendar (using Oracle Calendar) can be done over the air using a third-party utility. CTS recommends SyncJe from Nexthaus. The client is installed on your BlackBerry device and then synchronizes with the K-State Calendar server. It can synchronize your calendar, tasks, and contacts with the K-State Calendar. The instructions below will guide you through download, installation, and configuration.

BlackBerry syncing software
  • SyncJe from Nexthaus
  • The software comes with a 15-day trial period after which you will need to purchase a license.
  • K-State has a volume licensing agreement in place with Nexthaus for BlackBerry's purchased from CTS. Please contact the CTS business office at 532-7001 or send an e-mail to cts@k-state.edu if you wish to purchase a license.
  • Departments can submit a work order. Please be sure to include the e-mail address of the person wanting the license in order to deliver the license information to them.
  • The price is a $25 one-time fee (CTS purchased BlackBerry's only).
  • 1 year of support is included with the purchase price.
  • There is an optional $8 per year fee after the first year of service that gives you free upgrades and access to 24-hour support via e-mail and phone.
