  • Cultural Exhibition
  • Dance Lessons
  • Talent Show
  • International Movies
  • Fashion Show
  • Parade

International Food Festival

With representation from over 10 countries, ICC organized an international food festival that showcased cuisines from around the world. International students volunteered their time to prepare some of their traditional foods to share with others. Through food, people of all nationalities, American, Japanese, Colombian and more, joined together to learn and exchange culture. 10,000 Villages Fair Trade Sale As a fundraiser, ICC hosted a 10,000 Villages Sale of fair trade products handmade from artisans around the world. 10,000 Villages is a non-profit fair trade organization that sells handicraft from Latin America, Africa and Asia. As a fair trade organization, 10,000 Villages pays a fair wage to producers and provides additional educational and financial support to fight hunger and poverty in low-income countries.

Learning Trips

With the aim of sharing the cultural and historical areas of Kansas, ICC organizes learning trips for international students. Past trips have included Konza Prairie and nearby cities.

International Student Orientation Programs

At the beginning of spring and fall semester, ICC helps with an orientation to new international students to help them get acclimated to a new environment. ICC provides new students with information about the opportunities in Manhattan and at Kansas State University while assisting with housing and transportation.

ICC hosts welcome events that include a picnic, ice cream social, bowling and pizza party. The welcome events serve as a great opportunity for Americans and current international students to meet new friends from around the world and share helpful information.
