Upcoming Events !!
International Coordinating Council & International Buddies are proud to represent all International students at Kansas State University, for the first time in its history, in the K-State Homecoming Parade, the highlight event of the Homecoming Week 2011 event. We would like your group/country to be represented at this parade, and to make it even more exciting, we would like you to represent your country in your traditional dress if possible. We would provide the flags of your country for the parade.
This year, the K-State Homecoming Parade is on Friday, October 28th 2011 at 5pm. We start lining up for the parade sometime between 3-4pm, something that will be informed to us on the week of the Parade. Just a clarification, you do not need to form a group of people to participate in this parade. If you would like to participate in this parade representing your country, regardless if you have people walking with you or not, just fill out this form and we will match you up with other folks representing your country, if there are any. Also, this event is open to everyone. Students, Staff, Faculty, Family and Friends....any one can join us here! We just hope to have a huge crowd of internationals for this!
It is imperative that you get this form to us at the latest on Tuesday, 25th October 2011 at 5pm sharp:

Thank you for your support and look forward to having a huge group of Internationals walking through Aggieville, waving their flags, for the first time K-State!

Food Festival Approaches!
Details: 5th November 2011, 6pm - 8pm
The International Coordinating Council is now recruiting cooks for the International Food Festival. This event will take place on November 5th from 6pm to 8pm at the ECM center at Denison avenue. This event is a great opportunity to share your country's "food culture" with the university and the Manhattan community as a whole.
Last year, students from more than 20 countries prepared their traditional dishes for more than 200 people who attended the event. If you or your student organization would like to take the opportunity to share by cooking one or several traditional dishes for this event, please express your intent by emailing Emilie Guidez by October 8th, at the latest. You can make one or more of the following: Appetizer, Main dish, Side Dish, Desert or Traditional Drink. Food expenses incurred by the group will be reimbursed.
We need your help and participation to make this event diverse & successful!
