General Grievance Board

The General Grievance Board (GGB) Committee reports to the Faculty Affairs Committee of the Faculty Senate.

The purpose of this web site is twofold:

(1) to assist committee members, presiding panel chairs, and the GGB Committee chairs in performing their responsibilities as outlined in the General Grievance Board Policy and Procedures; and

(2) to inform potential grievants, faculty advocates and ombudspersons of the grievance process.

Grievances may arise out of decisions concerning reappointment, tenure, dismissal, promotion, salary, working conditions, discrimination, or any other matters related to the employment of a faculty or unclassified professional member or other unclassified personnel. A grievance may be filed by current and former faculty or unclassified professional. All other administrative remedies must have been exhausted.
