Graduate School Admission Requirements
Application fees (non-refundable)
U.S. citizens and permanent residents applying to degree programs are required to pay a $50 application fee. International applicants to a degree programs are required to pay a $75 application fee. Application fees for admission to graduate programs are non-refundable.
**PLEASE NOTE: Some programs may require an additional application fee. If applying to graduate programs in the College of Architecture or the College of Business, additional application fees apply. Refer to program websites for more information.
Transcripts
Request each college or university where you received your bachelor's degree or completed any advanced course work or degree to send an OFFICIAL transcript directly to the program in which you wish to enroll. These become part of your records at Kansas State University and cannot be returned. Students whose transcripts are not in English must furnish a translation by an appropriate authority. Failure to list any colleges or universities attended may result in dismissal from the University.
Statement of Objectives
If you intend to work toward an advanced degree, write on a separate sheet a discussion of your academic objectives giving specific reasons for the selection of your field of study, contemplated research areas, and professional plans.
Primary Language
To demonstrate competence in the English language, an official report of scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System - academic exam (IELTS) or Pearson Test of English (PTE) must be sent to Kansas State University for all applicants whose primary language is not English.
