Running for Office
File for office in KSIS here.
The deadline to file is February 9 at 5:00 p.m. for all SGA positions.
To be listed on the ballot, all candidates must:
- Complete a mandatory election training (see below)
- Register any social media accounts used for campaign purposes
- Turn in reports as specified on the elections homepage (see Feb. 16)
If you are running for Student Body President and Vice President:
Fill out this Intent to File form and return it to Elections Commissioner Nick Saia at ncsaia@ksu.edu.
When you have done so, Nick will schedule an individual training session for you and your campaign team.
If you are running for any other office:
You can attend any one of the following online meetings. You can expect the training to last 15-20 minutes. If none work for you, please contact ncsaia@ksu.edu.
- Thursday, Jan. 25 at 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, Feb. 9 at 1:00 p.m. ALSO OFFERED IN PERSON (UNION 114)
- Tuesday, Feb 13 at 4:00 p.m.
