Purchasing provides for open and competitive bidding whenever possible in the procurement of services, supplies, equipment, and capital outlay items for predetermined dollar limits for all campus departments including the Branch Experiment Stations and Experimental Fields. Purchasing works closely with the State Division of Purchases. Purchasing also assists departments with financing major purchases of equipment utilizing the State Equipment Lease Purchase Program
