The two NSF CAREER Proposal Writing Workshops will be held on:

Hotel (starting in the MOKU'OLA room).
Hawaii Tokai International College
has made available to the workshop participants 12 guest rooms
(starting $75 per night) in the same building where the Friday
workshop will be held. For reservations, please return

The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel will give a group rate of
$113.
The Monday workshop will be held at
Hilo Hawaiian
Hotel. The hotel has blocked 45 rooms for the workshop.
Please contact them directly (phone 808-935-9361 fax 808-969-6472)
for a room reservation which is guaranteed at $89/day plus tax for
standard garden room and $105/day plus tax for deluxe ocean view
room. Rooms are reserved until 30 days prior to the workshop. Ask
for a National Science Foundation Workshop room. The hotel does not
have any shuttle service to the airport. It takes about 10 minutes
to get to the hotel from the airport by taxi, costing about $10.
It generally is cheaper to fly roundtrip mainland--Honolulu then get
a roundtrip side trip to Hilo. Most likely, the
roundtrip tickets from Honolulu to Hilo cost less than $100. Check
