Objectives

Two NSF CAREER Proposal Writing Workshops will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Hawaii Tokai International College (Honolulu), and on Monday, March 26, 2007, at University of Hawaii – Hilo, respectively.

These workshops are to provide assistant professors who intend to submit NSF CAREER proposals with exposure to the proposal review process, some time to meet with NSF program directors, and an opportunity to get advice from recent CAREER awardees. Past workshops have been found useful to faculty submitting non-CAREER proposals to NSF as well.

The events are targeted at an EPSCoR state, Hawaii. However, the workshops are also open to participants from other states.
