American Ethnic Studies

Minor Requirements

Students completing fifteen (15) credit hours of course work may earn a minor in American Ethnic Studies.

The course requirements are:

(a) AMETH 160 Introduction to American Ethnic Studies 

(b) Choose one 3-credit hour course from the following:

AMETH 351 African American Perspectives

AMETH 352 American Indian Perspectives

AMETH 353 Latina/o Perspectives

AMETH 354 Asian American Perspectives

(c) Any three additional AMETH courses

TOTAL Credits Required: 15

To graduate, a student must achieve a 2.0 GPA in all courses to satisfy the AMETH minor requirements. Additional course requirements can be found at: K-State Guide to Majors and Programs
