[reflection]
The Perfect Parent
Have you ever felt exhausted in trying to respond to a problem with your child? Have you ever felt like you have run out of ideas? During those moments it's easy to get discouraged. There are no simple solutions, and you will certainly not find them in these pages. For some of us, being a parent is a struggle. Of course we are going to make mistakes. Can we recover? Yes. Will our children survive our inadequacies? Yes, if we can renew our relationship around with them. It's never too late to start.

If you are keeping a journal, describe the gap between what we sometimes expect of ourselves and what is truly reasonable.
