Considering Misbehavior
This week when your child misbehaves, stop for a moment and consider the reasons for the behavior. Imagine you are the child. How do you feel, what are you thinking, what is your goal? How can you help your child reach that goal without having to misbehave?

If you are keeping a journal, describe your thoughts about the kinds of goals that your children might have when they misbehave.
