Genera of the Triticeae as recognized by various taxonomists after 1930.
Representative generic treatments published after 1930. Nomenclatural errors have been corrected. Treatments with asterisks are limited in either regional or taxonomic scope. Names in adjacent, similarly shaded cells within a column were considered congeneric by the author concerned.
1 Löve recognized Gigachilon, Cylindropyrum, Sitopsis, Paropyrum or Patopyrum, Gastropyrum, Aegilonearum, Orrhopygium, Chennapyrum, Comopyrum, Aegilamma, Aegilopoides, and Kiharapyrum as segregates of Aegilops but they have rarely, if ever, been accepted.
