Short Biography:

I have lived in Manhattan most of my life. After graduating from high school a year early, I attended MATC before starting work at K-State. After ten years of working on campus, I decided to pursue my bachelor's degree (which took another ten years!). I love being part of the Wildcat Family.

Brief Work History:

My career with K-State started in 1993 with a part-time editor's assistant position in the Department of Statistics. I moved to the Union to serve as office manager for the Union Program Council and worked in that position for three years. In 1997, I accepted a position with the Office of Admissions and have enjoyed over 20 years with a great group of coworkers.

Personal Interests:

After finally finishing my bachelor's degree in Social Science in 2017, I have had much more time to devote to fun hobbies. I played violin with a small community orchestra for many years. Most recently, I have taken up both knitting and crocheting and enjoy taking knitting cruises where I can learn more skills while on fantastic vacations.

Additional Comments:

It is my pleasure to serve on the USS Senate. I look forward to helping make K-State a wonderful place to work.
