Griffin named Financial Futures new project administrator
Shelley Griffin has been hired as the project administrator for K-State's Financial Futures initiative.
Griffin will be based in the Powercat Financial office in Room 302 of the K-State Student Union. Griffin will assist with the growth of the financial well-being initiative, Financial Futures, in support of student success. Griffin recently served as project manager for Cytek Media Systems and was previously a K-State IT coordinator for the Technology Classroom Teams. Griffin earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from K-State.
The goals of K-State's Financial Futures initiative are for all students to develop a college financial plan in their first year, have for-credit exposure to financial literacy content in their course of study and access to peer-to-peer financial counseling throughout college.
