Fourth cohort of students selected for Menard Family Scholars Program
The K-State College of Business Administration welcomed the fourth cohort of students into the Menard Family Scholars Program. This program provides high-achieving incoming first-year students with premier business leadership experiences.
Offered by the college's Center for Principled Business, the Menard Family Scholars Program engages first-year business students in a yearlong program designed to foster leadership development, ethical decision making and innovative thinking. Menard Scholars gain technical knowledge and skills through rigorous coursework beginning in their first semester of study. In addition, these students explore college leadership opportunities and career pathways in the business sector through industry learning trips, alumni gatherings, one-on-one mentoring and other curated experiences.
Students work with top faculty members as they transition to college. They receive early access to the College of Business Career Development Program, specialized advising and career shadowing experiences. Menard Scholars gain personal, professional and career skills while building a peer and professional network with high-achieving individuals.
