New accelerated degree program announced

Submitted by Dan Higgins

The Department of Chemistry and the College of Business Administration have formed a unique partnership that will allow K-State students to pursue a lucrative career in the chemical industry after graduation.

The partnership has produced a new accelerated degree program in which interested students can receive both a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Master of Business Administration after five years of study. The program will provide students with the chemistry knowledge required to develop and offer new commercial products and the business skills to become an entrepreneur and a leader in the industry. Interested students must apply and be admitted into this program, which is only open to current K-State students.

Please contact the chemistry department for further information.

An informational meeting about the new program will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in 209 Chemistry/Biochemistry Building. All interested students are invited.
