APDesign graduates recognized for achievements in APDPro

Fourteen graduates in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design at Kansas State University received APDPro certification by completing all five years of requirements for APDPro, the college's professional development program. 

The following students achieved certification in APDPro during the 2021-2022 academic year:

Carly Temming, fifth-year student in architecture, Auburn; Hailey Konen, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Council Grove; Marvy Whittaker, fifth-year student in architecture, Gardner; Erin Wheeler, fifth-year student in architecture, Lenexa; Mica Ratzlaff, fifth-year student in architecture, Manhattan; Matthew McGuire, fifth-year student in architecture, Bentonville, Arkansas; Matthew Henninger, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Conway, Arkansas; Erin Bongard, fifth-year student in architecture, Excelsior, Minnesota; Matthew Isaak, fifth-year student in architecture, Chesterfield, Missouri; Abby O’Connor, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Columbia, Missouri; Erika Jackson, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Kansas City, Missouri; Madi Wieseler, fifth-year student in architecture, Kansas City, Missouri; Jamie List, fifth-year student in architecture, Manchester, Missouri; and Anne Criddle, fifth-year student in architecture, Cincinnati, Ohio. 

The mission of APDPro is to enrich students' experience in APDesign and provide a competitive advantage as they transition to the workplace. The programs offered through APDPro help students develop the career skills employers are looking for via workshops, lectures, seminars, professional mentoring and networking opportunities. Students receive a notation on their transcripts for each year they complete the program requirements and become certified in APDPro if they complete the requirements for all five years of the program.
