Application open for potential Truman scholars

Submitted by Drew Bellamy

Campus applications for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship are due March 28. The Truman scholarship awards up to $30,000 to support graduate study for students aspiring to a career in public service. Kansas State University can nominate up to four individuals plus up to three additional transfer students to forward to the national competition.

Students eligible to apply in this year's application cycle must plan on graduating between December 2023 and August 2024. Students must also rank in the top quarter of their class and be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.

To seek nomination, students are required to complete the campus application by the March 28 deadline. If you have questions about the application or wish to discuss in more detail, contact Jim Hohenbary at jimlth@k-state.edu
