Kansas Board of Regents December meeting university updates

The Regents received a report on the projects state universities completed using fiscal year 2021 Educational Building Funds. K-State was allocated approximately $12.3 million for fiscal year 2021.
The Regents approved K-State's request to raze the east ticket office at Bill Snyder Family Stadium as part of the construction for the new indoor football practice facility.
K-State received approval to enter into lease agreements with two affiliated corporations: the K-State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and Veterinary Health Center.
The Regents approved K-State's request to expand contractual market-based education offerings to meet current academic knowledge and skill needs.
The Regents approved a recommendation from the Transfer and Articulation Council to recognize six additional courses for transfer across the Kansas Board of Regents system.
K-State received approval to offer a Master of Science in aeronautics with options in leadership/policy and aerospace certification at K-State Salina.
The Regents approved housing and food service rates for the 2022-2023 academic year, which are effective July 1, 2022.
The Regents approved fiscal year 2023 Educational Building Funds to state universities.
Student health insurance benefits and premium rates for plan year 2022-2023 were approved by the board.
The Regents approved K-State's non-budgetary legislative proposals: to sell property in Riley County and Cherokee County, and in Douglas County, Nebraska.
K-State received approval to name the new band hall the Tracz Family Band Hall, to be constructed in West Memorial Stadium.
