Celebrate Research Administrator Day Sept. 25

Submitted by Erin Pennington

National Research Administrator Day is celebrated annually on Sept. 25 as a way to recognize working professionals who support faculty and researchers in the pursuit and conduct of research and other sponsored scholarly activities.

Sponsored Programs Accounting and the Office of PreAward Services thank the research administrators in our respective units, as well as those throughout the K-State community for their contributions and service to the university. Research administrators appreciate the partnership and opportunity to work alongside talented faculty, staff and university leadership as knowledge, innovation and outreach are expanded through the pursuit of sponsored activity.

During this busy season as another federal fiscal year comes to an end, we invite the campus community to take a moment to recognize the many contributions and reflect on all the ways campus research administrators support their efforts to pursue and manage the funding necessary to create, innovate and disseminate the results of cutting-edge research and scholarly pursuits.

We join in thanking the research administrator community for all you do to serve Kansas State University. Happy National Research Administrator Day!
