Sally Pemberton lectures on her book 'Portrait of Murdock Pemberton' today
Sally Pemberton will recount her adventures researching the career of her grandfather Murdock Pemberton, a Kansas native, playwright, poet and the New Yorker magazine's first art critic, from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the Beach Museum of Art.
An opportunity to talk with Sally Pemberton will follow the lecture along with refreshments.
Pemberton's book "Portrait of Murdock Pemberton" will be for sale — cash or check only — for a reduced price of $75.
The lecture is made possible by the Richard Coleman Beach Museum of Art Lecture Series Fund.
