Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from July 6-9.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. 

K-State reaches a 72% COVID-19 vaccination rate.
Lafene Health Center officials estimate that more than 72% of K-State students, faculty and staff have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. The K-State vaccination rate exceeds the 70% goal of the nationwide COVID-19 College Vaccine Challenge. 

The Division of Facilities is updating signage throughout campuses.
For the next few weeks, the Division of Facilities will be removing and replacing signs throughout K-State campuses. Updated signs include hand-washing signs, face covering and physical distancing signs, and other general wellness signage related to the Every Wildcat a Wellcat initiative. Contact FacCampusPlanning@k-state.edu with questions.

K-Staters can voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards.
The university continues to strongly encourage all students, faculty and staff who can receive the COVID-19 vaccination to do so before arriving on a K-State campus. K-State students, faculty and staff are encouraged to voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards to the myLafene+ patient portal.

Lafene Health Center continues offering COVID-19 vaccines.
Lafene Health Center continues to offer COVID-19 vaccine opportunities for students, faculty and staff. For a limited time, Lafene is offering single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines. When that supply is exhausted, Lafene plans to offer a two-dose vaccine.

K-State has released remote work policy guidelines.
Human Capital Services has launched a remote work website that includes resources and guides for the new policy.

The university continues to track and evaluate COVID-19 data in our community.

Every week, K-State is updating the online dashboard that tracks COVID-19 data in university-connected communities.
