This Friday: Research presentations by two K-State graduates

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sorghum and Millet announces the inauguration of a new virtual research seminar series. The first event is from 9-10:30 a.m. CDT Friday, Sept. 18, via Zoom

The series will start with presentations by two recent graduates from Kansas State University with an introduction by Geoff Morris. Presentations include: 

Jacques Faye — "A genomic resource for genetics, physiology, and breeding of West African sorghum."

Fanna Maina Assane Mamadou — "Leveraging genomic studies to implement molecular breeding for Striga resistant sorghum in West Africa."

A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
