Three join Lafene health care team

Dr. Cassie Scripter, M.D.; Bonnie McKinsey; and Stacia Petrancosta have joined the health care team at Lafene Health Center.
Scripter officially joined the staff Aug. 13. She participated in Lafene’s Health Fair in October 2012, staffing the “Ask the Provider” booth, where she answered questions from inquiring students. She is a physician in the Health Center’s General Clinic. Before coming to Lafene, she worked as a medical provider for the Cotton-O’Neill Clinic in Wamego.
Lafene Health Center also welcomed Bonnie McKinsey, family nurse practitioner, to the team in November. McKinsey is a medical care provider in the General Clinic. She was employed at the Riley County Health Department before coming to Lafene.
Stacia Petrancosta will be joining Lafene Health Center as a full-time certified physician’s assistant. She will officially begin working Jan. 7, 2013, also in the General Clinic. Petrancosta has been employed as an urgent care and occupational medical provider in Columbus, Ga.
