Geography's 2012 distinguished alumna to give public lecture
Holly Barcus, the 2012 geography department distinguished alumna, will give a public lecture titled "From Manhattan to Mongolia: Connecting the Great Plains to the Eurasian Steppe through Rural Geography" at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in 132 Seaton Hall.
Barcus received her doctorate in geography from Kansas State University in 2001 and is currently an associate professor of geography at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
