Research and Discovery Activity Reporting Access

Submitted by Mollie Robbins

Research and Discovery Activity Reporting, or RADAR, will provide unparalleled access and insight into K-State research activities. Users will be able to utilize the site to access various types of research-related data including current and pending, protocols and training, which will assist research administrators during the proposal preparation and submission phase of sponsored projects.

In order to utilize RADAR, you will need a Power BI Pro license, which cost $25 per year per user. Note, the annual license expense is prorated based on when you purchase it. You can request a Power BI Pro license by submitting a request to ITS at k-state.edu/its/software/software-licenses/ms-power-bi/.

Once you’ve requested your Power BI Pro license, please complete the RADAR Access Form and submit via email to radar@k-state.edu. You will receive a confirmation email once you’ve been given access.

The available current and pending report are still being modified — specifically the sponsor award number field and flow through details. A short tutorial video is available on the site after login but can also be accessed on Zoom.
