Volunteers needed for heart rate detection study

Submitted by Carl J. Ade

The Brain and Body Sensing Lab in the electrical and computer engineering department and Clinical Integrative Physiology Laboratory in the kinesiology department are looking for volunteers over the age of 25 to participate in a research study.

The study is investigating the accuracy of newly developed heart rate sensors that can gather heart rate and breathing data from a resting person without physical contact. It requires only one visit and will last 5-10 minutes.

A food item/snack will be provided for your time.

Contact the Brain and Body sensing Lab at brainandbody@k-state.edu for more information.

This study has been reviewed by the Institutional Review Board and received approval No. 9386.
