Weapons policy open forum Sept. 15

Submitted by Tara Fronce

The Weapons Advisory Work Group will host an open forum to discuss the draft weapons policy from 2-3:30 p.m. Sept. 15 in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.

Considering the campus input and suggestions, the work group will submit the final policy draft for approval by the president's cabinet and Gen. Richard Myers, interim president on Oct. 4. Once approved, the revised policy will be submitted to the Kansas Board of Regents Governance Committee for review and acceptance during the October or November meeting.

Additional information about the draft weapons policy is available on the Vice President for Administration and Finance website.
