SafeZone training March 9

SafeZone, in conjuncture with the Student Access Center, will offer a training session, Reacting to the Unexpected, from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 9, in 112 Leadership Studies Building.

Led by April Penick, assistant director of the Student Access Center, this training will focus on helping individuals increase awareness of personal reactions they may have during various types of interactions with individuals with disabilities. Various mental health conditions will be discussed, focusing on personal biases and unintended negative curiosities. Register for this training.
