Diaz de Sabates gives a lecture in Mendoza, Argentina

On Oct. 14, Gabriela Díaz de Sabatés, an assistant professor in the women's studies department, presented an invited paper "Life Narratives: Feminist Knowledge at the Intersection of Gender, Race, Class, and Migratory Status" at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo’s Institute for Gender and Women’s Studies, Mendoza, Argentina.
Also, in 2014 the University of Mendoza invited Díaz de Sabatés to be part of a team of professionals working to develop a doctoral program in prevention of gender and family violence. During her trip to Mendoza earlier this month she participated in the initial programmatic meetings for the establishment of the program.
