Participants needed in kinesiology and nutrition research study

Submitted by Stephanie Kurti

The nutrition and kinesiology departments are seeking interested participants for a research study investigating the composition of the lung microbiome. We are in need of college students or faculty/staff ages 18-44, ideally not participating in any planned physical activity per week, or exercising less than 30 minutes per week.

Benefits:
• Health outcome data and body composition analysis tests will be available to you that are normally costly to perform.
• Multiple opportunities to win gift cards for participation.
• Participation and contribution to K-State research.

Requirements:
• One visit to the laboratory for approximately one hour, where a variety of noninvasive airway tests will be performed.

Contact Stephanie Kurti at stephkurti@ksu.edu if you are interested in participating.
