The K-State Center for Advocacy, Response and Education, or CARE; Greek Affairs; Housing and Dining Services; and Office of Student Life will host Sex Signals from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union. A second show, with more adult-appropriate content, will be from 8-9:30 p.m.

Sex Signals is an interactive group that empowers individuals to challenge the cultural norms that perpetuate rape in our society. Through improvisation, comedy and audience engagement, Sex Signals provides students with the resources, knowledge and techniques to stand up against sexual assault. Students will learn bystander intervention techniques and understand the importance of consent.

Using recent research by professionals in the field, Sex Signals creates an important dialogue around issues of sexual assault and provides helpful tips for how to prevent it on campus. Sex Signals has been performed more than 3,500 times at colleges and universities and seen by more than 1 million students worldwide.
