Submitted by Mary Rankin

The College of Engineering Office of Research and Graduate Programs will host a panel presentation on research collaboration opportunities with university institutes and centers from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in Fiedler Hall auditorium. The event is open to all K-State faculty, staff and students.

Panelists will be Ron Trewyn, university liaison to the National Bio and Agro-defense Facility, or NBAF; Stephen Higgs, director of the Biosecurity Research Institute, or BRI, and university distinguished professor; Nancy Monteiro-Riviere, director of the Nanotechnology Innovation Center of Kansas State, or NICKS, and university distinguished professor; and Jim Riviere, director of the Institute for Computational Comparative Medicine, or ICCM, and university distinguished professor.

The discussion will focus on how faculty can become more involved and potentially collaborate on research proposals with K-State centers and institutes. Read more information or contact the Office of Research and Graduate Programs at 785-532-5844 or ERGP@k-state.edu.
