Submitted by Learning and Development

Environmental health and safety is continuing to offer sessions of Hazardous Waste Awareness Training, WTD080. The course is intended for individuals responsible for hazardous waste management, specifically for researchers and employees who generate the waste material and whose responsibility continues through the transportation and disposal process. This training emphasizes the importance of properly identifying, handling and disposing of all hazardous wastes.

Sessions will be offered from 2-3 p.m. Nov. 5 and from 10-11 a.m. Dec. 2 in Edwards Hall. There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Register for training through HRIS Self_Enrollment or email learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu and include your name, department, employee ID number, course title, course number — WTD080 — and date desired.

For special accommodation, call 785-532-5856 at least 48 hours prior to the event.
