Circolo Italiano, the K-State Italian Club, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, in Room 226 of the K-State Student Union.

October is Italian-American Heritage Month and our program for the evening will feature a panel presentation by Caterina Scoglio, professor of engineering, and Lenore Rosenberg, English language program. They will share about their Italian heritage and how they arrived in Manhattan from Italy.

The purposes of Italian-American Heritage Month are educational and celebratory. The goal is to inform the public about the contributions made by Italians and Italian-Americans to our civilization, especially in the arts, the humanities and the sciences, and to celebrate the impact that Italian culture and language have had and continue to have on our lives as Italian-Americans.
