Submitted by Anna Marie Wytko

Members of the K-State Saxophone Studio, under the direction of Anna Marie Wytko, presented a Saxophone Gala Benefit Concert for the Manhattan Arts Center on March 29.

The concert featured saxophone students Weston Cook, Christopher Gugel, Michael Meier, Connor Penton and Emily Roth, in addition to K-State staff pianist Amanda Arrington. This program featured the music of American composers Craig Weston and Glenn Smith; French composers Eugène Bozza, Guy Lacour and Anthony Girard; and Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.

The program was made possible in part by generous sponsorships from Little Apple Toyota Honda and Jack and Peggy Flouer.
