Civil engineering student awarded national scholarship
Andrew Foerster, graduate student in civil engineering, has been awarded the $5,000 Bertold E. Weinberg Scholarship from the American Concrete Institute Foundation.
Foerster was nominated by his faculty adviser, Hayder Rasheed, professor of civil engineering.
The American Concrete Institute is a leading authority and resource worldwide for the development and distribution of consensus-based standards, technical resources, educational programs, certification programs, and proven expertise for individuals and organizations involved in concrete design, construction and materials.
