The Office of Testing Programs and Services currently has no available Test Center staff openings in the following positions:

Testing Services Specialist (2)

Testing Programs and Services announces two openings for the position of Testing Services Specialist. This position assists the Test Center Coordinator with daily test administration duties, proctoring high stakes exams, provide excellent customer service, maintain the confidentiality and security of test takers' information, safeguard and maintain the security of test materials and the testing environment, and represent the Test Center and Kansas State in a professional manner.

Applicants must have very good organizational skills, be able to demonstrate patience, courteousness, and respect when enforcing testing clients' policies and candidate rules. Must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate integrity and sound judgment. Must be able to multitask.

Qualifications

Graduate level student; bachelors Degree or higher; must be 21 years or older; not expected to sit for the FE, GMAT, GRE, PCAT or teacher licensure exams in the next 365 days.

Current K-State student in good academic standing - GPA 3.5 or higher.

Preferred

Academic support staff experience

Student Assistant (2)

Testing programs and Services announces two openings for the position of Student Assistant.  This position assists the Test Center Coordinator and Testing Services Specialist with their duties during proctoring high-stakes Internet-Based, Computer-Based, and paper/pencil exams.  The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving test candidates, confirming appointments, assisting visitors with locating and completing request forms and providing general Test Center directions and other office functions and responsibilities assigned by the Center Coordinator.

Applicant must have great communications skills; be able to follow directives given by testing clients policies and procedures; be able to exercise professional telephone courtesy; and have good organizational skills.

Qualifications

Current K-State student in good academic standing - GPA 2.5 or higher. Work study accepted

Preferred

General clerical and customer service knowledge and/or experience.
