This position assists the Test Center Director with daily Center administrative responsibilities, supervising examinees at the Test Center and in the testing room, providing excellent customer service, maintaining the confidentiality and security of test takers' information, safeguarding and maintaining the security of test materials and the testing environment, working with student assistant staff and representing the Test Center and Kansas State in a global environment.
Applicants must be able to perform responsibilities by apply the Center's Core Values and demonstrate a high degree of integrity, fairness, and sound judgment in all situations. Must have very good organizational skills, be able to perform multiple tasks and maintain exam security in the testing environment. Be able to demonstrate patience, courteousness, and respect when enforcing all policies and candidate test administration guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate level student; Bachelors Degree or higher
- must be 21 years or older
- not expected to sit for the FE, GMAT, GRE, PCAT or teacher licensure exam within 365 days of employment.
- Current K-State student in good academic standing - GPA 3.0 or higher.
Preferred
- First year master's student
- Academic support staff experience

Student Assistant
We seek applications for one (1) student assistant role.

Testing programs and Services announces one summer opening for the position of Student Assistant. This position assists the Test Center Director and Testing Services Specialist with administrative functions related to test takers appointments at the Test Center. This individual will also assists with ensuring test center security and the fulfillment of exam policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving test candidates, confirming appointments, assisting visitors with locating and completing request forms and providing general Test Center directions and other office functions and responsibilities assigned by the Director or Testing Specialist.
Applicant must have great communications skills; be able to locate and apply policies outlined in testing clients policies and procedures; be able to exercise professional telephone courtesy; and have good organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Current K-State student in good academic standing - GPA 2.5 or higher. Work study accepted
Preferred
- General clerical and customer service knowledge and/or experience.
