Testing Programs and Services

Certification and Licensure Testing

Kansas State's Testing Center has partnered with a number of testing delivery providers to make certification and licensure examinations accessible to students, staff, and the Manhattan workforce and its professional community. Each provider offers certification and licensure testing to meet the needs of our entire campus community. Below you will find a few of our partnering exam providers whose certifications are offered here at Kansas State. Certiport

Kansas State is now a Certiport Authorized Test Center (CATC). Certiport is a Pearson Vue business that offers many certifications through programs like ADOBE, Apple, EC-Council, Information Technology Specialist, Microsoft Certified Educators and Microsoft Office Specialist, as well as certifications offered through the Project Management Institute.  Anyone interested in earning their certification or learning more about Certiport testing and their certifications offerings can visit http://www.certiport.com . To schedule an appointment to test at Kansas State Testing Center complete the Testing Services Request Form and email it to testing@k-state.edu at least 7 days in advance of your desired test date.

Educational Testing Service (ETS) - PRAXIS Series Testing

Educational Testing Service offers the Praxis Series assessments, which states use as part of their teacher licensure and certification process. The Praxis I tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills.

The PRAXIS Series exams are offered through Internet-based testing. K-State currently provides test information and administers the PRAXIS Series tests in both formats. Visit http://www.ets.org/praxis for more information on the PRAXIS exam.

Kryterion Testing Network

The Kansas State Testing Center joins Kryterion Testing Network to widen its inventory of testing and certification opportunities for K-State students.  Business, Finance, Information Technology, and Marketing students now have access to a wide range of programs, career certification, as well as subject specific licensure offerings to choose from.  To learn more about what Kryterion offers visit http://www.kryterion.com or email us at testing@k-state.edu.  K-State students can also contact their program or curriculum adviser or your Dean's Office to get more information about available programs or courses.

PEARSON VUE

Kansas State University is an authorized Select Pearson VUE testing center. Pearson VUE “delivers exams through the world’s most comprehensive and secure network”.   They offer academic/admissions exams and assessment, information technology certification, and state and occupational licensure exams. PSI Services Inc.

Kansas State University is one of over 300 Test Centers within the PSI National Network of Testing Centers.  PSI offers testing for certification and licensure, pre-hire employment selection, managerial assessments and testing for federal government agencies.  You can learn more about PSI's services, or get information on how to register for an exam by visiting the PSI website.

SCANTRON

Scantron Assessment Solutions. is a full-service testing company contracted by agencies, organizations, and corporations to develop and administer credentialing exams. Kansas State Testing Center, in partnership with SCANTRON Assessments, provides testing services to individuals pursuing certifications in environmental, fitness, health, and safety careers.
