Who We Are

National Test Center

Kansas State University is one of a number of National testing centers for assessments and exams providers in the United States. Most exams are offered nationwide simultaneously on designated dates through providers like ACT Inc., Educational Testing Services (ETS), and The College Board.

Controlled Test center

K-State also serves as a Controlled Test Center to many organizations that require a testing environment that provides information and data assurance measures, secure physical storage capabilities to ensure the safety and security of high stakes academic, commercial and professional testing.

What we do

We offer assessments for students currently enrolled in high school through graduate school and others attempting to satisfy job placement requirements.

Certification and licensure

Kansas State University serves as a regional test center for a number of high stakes Internet-based test providers who offer certification and licensure exams to undergraduate, graduate, and community and workforce clients.

Credit for prior learning

We offer students a variety of credit for prior learning opportunities through College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the DANTES Subject Standardized Subject Tests (DSST). Students may earn academic credit in specific courses by successfully completing exams accepted by their current institution.

Entrance and professional exams

We can help you find testing information and other program resources to assist you with preparing, registering, and completing your entrance and professional exams.

Any person seeking proctoring services for correspondence courses, distance study and other non-K-State exams may be proctored at the test center provided they meet and comply with the Center's policies and procedures, identification and fee requirements. Anyone wishing to receive this service must do so by completing a Testing Services Request form.
