Advanced Manufacturing Institute Hires Network Specialist

(Manhattan, Kan. October 2, 2007) – David Williams has accepted the position of network specialist for the Advanced Manufacturing Institute at Kansas State University. Williams will be responsible for providing network and server support, in addition to serving as a technical resource on industrial projects.

In this role, Williams will maintain and enhance AMI’s network, intranet and Web site.

Williams earned associate degrees in both electronic engineering technology and computer engineering technology from Kansas State University at Salina. He is also a Microsoft certified professional. Williams previously provided network support, disaster recovery and served as project team leader for Lextron Information Systems in Garden City, Kan.
