Advanced Manufacturing Institute Selects Summer Interns

(Manhattan, Kan. May 31, 2007) – The Advanced Manufacturing Institute at Kansas State University has selected 33 students to serve as interns for summer 2007.

As interns, the students have the opportunity to work with a team of experts and actively engage in client projects to gain real-world experience in several sectors of engineering, product design and business.

The institute's internship program has been successful in preparing students with the necessary skills to excel in the workplace after graduation. In May, 15 interns graduated from the program, and many of them have been hired to work for leading companies in their industries.
