Technology Entrepreneurship Program
Through the Technology Entrepreneurship Program, K-State offers a unique specialization that educates students interested in the creation, protection, and commercialization of innovation. The two year program was developed to provide select students with classroom and real-world exposure to all aspects of technology development and venture creation.
The internship involves rotations in three departments - the Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AMI), the Office of PreAwards Services (PAS), and the Institute for Commercialization (KSU-IC). AMI assists entrepreneurs in bringing new products to market while the university's creative and scholarly activities are supported through PAS. KSU-IC helps with the start-up and expansion of technology-based, high growth enterprises and licensing patents developed by K-State.
