At K-State, we believe academic advising is critical to your success, so we assign students an academic advisor in their declared program of study or major. Enrolled students will find the name of their advisor on their Student Center in KSIS. If you do not see an advisor listed, please contact your department or dean's office. If you have any questions about your academics, please contact your assigned advisor.
This site contains a variety of helpful information, but perhaps none more so than the university-wide academic advising syllabus, developed in 2015-16 and approved for use by the University Advising Committee in the fall of 2016. This syllabus contains common elements for all students and advisors. It also provides colleges, departments, and other units with space for more focused expectations and guidelines.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring the developments. The best place to review guidance regarding remote advising is the Remote Advising website.
